Looking for the best glamping bell tent for group woodland camping in Sussex?
Out in the forest you can arrive to a pre-pitched Fox Wood glamped 5 meter star bell tent.
The star bell tents have a built in porch canopy, which means you get a bit more storage space than a standard 5 meter bell tent.
They can sleep up to 4 people comfortably and are also great for couples.
What you get when you book a glamping bell tent as part of a group gathering?
Your bell tent is equipped with coir rugs 4 single sprung beds.
These can be put together to make doubles or kept separate as single beds.
Bed mattresses are covered with fresh linen prior to your stay, but you do need to bring your own bedding and pillows.
Please note the beds are not suitable for infants as they are raised off the ground. You’ll need to bring your own travel cot if camping with infants.
The outside lights are solar and light up automatically as it gets dark. A guide to help you back to your camp in the evening.
Every Bell Tent has it’s own campfire area with a fire pit.
There is no bedding in the bell tent, so you will need to pack duvets and pillows.
You’ll find the shared washing and shower facilities by reception.

You’ll need to pack:
- Bedding, blankets, pillows
- Camping table and camping chairs
- Cooking equipment, including pots, pans, utensils
- Glasses, crockery and cutlery
- Towels and torches
- Food and drinks
- And a storage container for your food and drink
But we’ve taken care of a tent and beds with mattresses :-).
The Forest 5m Star Bell Tents are great for friendship groups and there is no limit to the number of families in your group if you are booking this. Your friends will just need to book a Woodland Pitch and bring their own tent.
If you’re not part of a group and you fancy something more private and a bit closer to the facilities then the Glamping Emperor Bell Tent might be a better option. You can only link a single Woodland Tent Pitch and a Campervan Meadow Pitch with the emperor bell tent option.
NO DOGS ALLOWED AROUND OR IN THE BELL TENT CAMPING PLEASE.
All glamping bell tents require a £100 security deposit added to total stay cost, which is refunded on departure day on condition that the staff find it clean, undamaged and all items remaining in the area.
