Fox Wood is a stunning woodland campsite for Woodland Tent camping, but there is a large meadow located at the edge of the forest.
There are an exclusive number of Campervan Pitches permitted only at the perimeter of the meadow and directly adjacent to the forest.
This pitch is suitable for smaller style campervans, roof top tents and trailer tents. Please NO motorhomes.
We do not have electric hook up or chemical toilet disposal.
You are welcome to join friends who are booking a Woodland Tent Pitch. Just let us know that you are linking booking a Campervan Meadow Pitch and a Woodland Tent Pitch in the notes section of the booking form.
It is also possible to link a Private Glade 6m Emperor Bell Tent with a Campervan Meadow Pitch.

What you get when you book a Campervan Meadow Pitch?
Your Campervan Meadow Pitch includes:
- Bringing your own Campervan (or roof top tent or trailer tent) and pitching in the meadow in a pre-allocated pitch
- A Campervan Meadow Pitch includes up to 4 people, with a maximum of 2 adults. You can add extra children to the pitch cost when booking.
- You are welcome to put up a shelter next to your van for no fee. But extra tents would require another booking.
- Your Campervan is your allocated car for your booking. Please book a car as an extra if you are bringing another car to site
- We allocate a campfire within the forest if you are camping with friends who are booking a Woodland Tent Pitch OR provide a firebowl to have a campfire next to your Campervan if you prefer.
Facilities onsite include:
- Toilets (no hot water)
- Showers – 6 single showers and 2 larger family sized rooms
- Washing up sinks with hot water – 3 sinks outside and 3 located in a covered cabin
- Play area with a slide and swing
- Meadow for ball games, picnics and sun seeking
- Small shop by reception which sells logs, sweets, snacks and a few essentials (e.g toothbrushes & torches)
