Can I drive to my pitch to unload?

You cannot drive your car to your pitch at Fox Wood, however you can get very close 🙂

Fox Wood operates a car free policy within the camping ground – and this has many benefits for the camping visitors.

• You will not have a unwanted car radio blasting out from a camping neighbour
• You will not have a neighbour leaving their engine running for a prolonged period of time to pump up an air bed
• You can be assured that your camping pitch is car free and therefore a safe place for your children – the cars are all contained along the central car parking track that bisects the camp ground.

To help you you get your gear to your pitch we have 2 wheelbarrow bays – the first is conveniently located along the central car parking track, and the second can be found by reception where we sell logs (please always return your wheelbarrow to one of these allotted bays for other campers to use).

If you need or fancy help getting your camping gear to your pitch please talk to the reception staff – as we also offer a buggy transport service for a small charge.
